4MIGA is the independent design practice of Luis da Silva, with a focus on branding, art direction, and concept-driven design. Guided by an innate interest and sense of social responsibility, Luis’ multidisciplinary approach provides clients with a comprehensive range of creative services with the aim of effective visual communication through considered design.
Raised in a Portuguese household in Philadelphia, Luis’ passion for visual design took shape at an early age. During his formative years, skateboard graphics, album cover art, and his bicultural experiences deeply influenced the aesthetic that defines his work.
Upon graduating from Tyler School of Art, Luis began his career working with mentors, Shepard Fairey and Dave Kinsey, in Southern California. He has since gained valuable experience working with a variety of creative agencies on both coasts, including BLK/MRKT, Obey Giant, Gyro Worldwide, Digitas Health, and Two Bit Circus.
With over 15 years’ experience as a creative professional, Luis has developed and revived brands in the music, fashion, sports, arts & culture, hospitality, retail, and healthcare sectors, providing design solutions across branding, print, environmental, and digital.
When he’s not in the studio, Luis is likely planning his next adventure; his interest in traveling and experiencing different cultures continues to feed his creativity, curiosity, and vision.
